A Credit Report May Be Required
I recently worked with a renter who was looking for a 1/1 in the Jacarenda Lakes area under 850. Anyone who knows the Jacarenda area knows that is a little but not impossible needle in a haystack to find. I met with my client early Sunday morning to show her some listings . Shorty into the showing I found her the perfect place . I was able to work with the listing agent to speak with her client to accept my client with without last months rent . The condo was listed for rent at 850, but we were able to get it reduced for her to 825. It seemed we had a deal . So I entered into a contract and faxed it to the listing agent.
The next day the agent called and requested a credit report b/c her client required it. My client was so upset , refused to provide or pay for her credit report and lost a great opportunity to live in a great area with lots of amenities. Most owners today are requiring a credit report be prepared. You can get one free credit report from any of the credit bureaus once a year.Doing this can save you from losing that perfect property or from paying anywhere from 60-125.00 for someone else to order it for you.
